JAMB has announced that the 2025 UTME mop-up exam will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2025. About 96,838 candidates are expected to take the exam in 183 centres across Nigeria. This mop-up is for the 5,096 candidateswho couldn’t take their exams earlier due to issues like biometric verification failure and also the 91,742 candidateswho missed one or both of the main UTME and resit exams. JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, shared this update on Sunday.
Important Info for Candidates
If you’re part of the mop-up exam, you should print your exam slip starting Monday, June 23, 2025, to know your exam details.

Mop-up candidates are advised to intensify preparations towards the exam with the JAMB CBT Mobile App for android phones or the JAMB CBT Software for Computer systems. Both contain over 60,000 JAMB past questions and answers to help you get adequately ready for the exam.
CBT Centres Update
JAMB also revealed that 113 CBT centres have been suspended or removed for breaking rules or having technical problems during previous exams.
Candidates are also informed that all WAEC Past Questions, both objective and theory, together with their solutions and answers, are now available online. Note this is the first time WAEC is using CBT. It would do candidates a lot of good to prepare for the exam using the Osilight WAEC CBT software or the Osilight WAEC CBT Mobile . This will help candidates to get familiar with the CBT environment and cover WAEC Past questions as well.
- Some centres are still being investigated.
- Centres found guilty will be banned and reported to the authorities.
- Because of this, some exam towns won’t be used for the mop-up.
- If your town is affected, you’ll be moved to the nearest available exam town.
JAMB asks for your understanding and cooperation as they work to ensure fair and smooth exams.
