The University of Uyo has officially released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who participated in the online screening exercise can now confirm their admission status through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
How to Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Follow the steps below to verify your admission:
- Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
- Log in with your registered email address and password to access your dashboard.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access my CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status” to view your result.
- If admitted, you will see your photo and a congratulatory message.
- If not admitted, the system will display: “Sorry, no admission has been given yet.”
Accepting or Rejecting Admission
- To respond to your admission offer, send ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
- Candidates without their registered phone numbers must visit a JAMB-accredited centre to accept or reject their admission.
- You have 4 weeks to respond, after which the offer will lapse.
Printing the Admission Letter
Once you have accepted your admission, ensure that you print your JAMB admission letter. This document will be required during clearance and registration at the University.
Important Note for Mobile Users
- Some mobile users may not see the Admission Status option when checking CAPS.
- If this happens, use the Chrome browser and switch to Desktop Mode (by selecting “Request Desktop Site”) to view the complete page.
