JAMB says that it has successfully registered over 1.5 million candidates for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The board also cautioned prospective candidates to join the over 1.5 million successfully registered ones and not to wait until the last day, emphasizing that there will be no extension beyond the official deadline, March 8, 2025, when the JAMB registration process will close.
The registration for the 2025 UTME began on February 3 and will end on March 8, 2025. Public Communication Advisor for JAMB, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, made this statement on Tuesday in Abuja, noting that the deadline has been clearly communicated through all advertisements and the official 2025 UTME calendar. Currently, over 1.5 million candidates have successfully registered, which aligns with the Board’s projections for the 2025 examination cycle.
According to Dr. Benjamin, the registration deadline is final, as the Board’s calendar is set, with many subsequent processes scheduled after registration, such as examinations, result management, and the admissions exercise.
The JAMB exam comes up on Friday 25th April and will run until Monday 5th May, 2025.
