Management of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced new measures to simplify its acceptance or rejection of admission processes for candidates.
JAMB has taken necessary steps to ensure that going forward, admission offered by institutions, new method of Acceptance or Rejection can only be done through the 55019 or 66019 channels or by using the candidate’s biometrics at any accredited CBT centre or JAMB Office.
Through this facility, candidates would be able to accept or reject any admission offer (programme change inclusive) with his/her fingerprints. According to the board, the newly-crafted methods of accepting or rejecting admissions, are aimed at protecting the details of the candidates and upholding the sanctity of the admission process.
