This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Abia State University (ABSU) for the 2025/2026 academic session that the online screening exercise has officially commenced.
✅ Who Can Apply?
- Candidates who chose ABSU as their 1st or 2nd choice in the 2025 UTME.
- Candidates who didn’t initially choose ABSU but now wish to switch via JAMB Change of Institution.
- Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME.
- All Direct Entry candidates.
- Candidates must possess five (5) O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, relevant to their intended course of study.
🧾 Application Process
- Visit the ABSU Portal: portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng
- Upload your:
- UTME score
- O’Level results
- Direct Entry results (where applicable)
- Also ensure these results are uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal.

Cost: ₦2,000 only
