The management of Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State, has officially announced the commencement of the sale of Post-UTME application forms for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Recognized as the first petroleum university in Africa and the sixth in the world, FUPRE is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into its various undergraduate degree programmes across its specialized colleges.

Candidates seeking admission into FUPRE for the 2026/2027 session are advised to complete their registration before the application deadline.

FUPRE Post UTME 2026/2027 Key Dates

• Application Commencement Date: Monday, 25th May 2026
• Application Closing Date: Friday, 17th July 2026
• Screening Fee: ₦2,000 only

FUPRE Post UTME Eligibility Requirements 2026/2027

To qualify for the FUPRE Post-UTME screening exercise, candidates must meet the following conditions:

1. UTME Score Requirement

Applicants must score a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME examination.

2. Choice of Institution

Candidates must have selected FUPRE as their first-choice institution or completed a Change of Institution to FUPRE through JAMB.

3. O’Level Requirements

Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language in SSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB at not more than two sittings.

4. Age Requirement

Candidates must be at least 16 years old on or before 30th September 2026.

FUPRE Direct Entry Admission Requirements

FUPRE accepts recognized Certificates, Diplomas, and Degrees approved by the NUC, NBTE, or NCCE for Direct Entry admission.

However, Direct Entry admission is NOT available for the following courses:
