UNIPORT Post-UTME Screening Form 2026/2027: Eligibility, Screening Schedule, Registration Process and Important Dates

The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME Screening Exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Candidates who selected UNIPORT as their First Choice Institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 160 are invited to register for the screening exercise.

UNIPORT Post-UTME Eligibility Requirements 2026/2027

To be eligible for the University of Port Harcourt Post-UTME Screening Exercise, candidates must:

  • Choose UNIPORT as their First Choice Institution in the 2026 UTME.
  • Score a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME.
  • Be at least 16 years old by September 2026.
  • Possess the required O’Level qualifications for their chosen course.
  • Upload their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal.

Candidates who selected UNIPORT as their second-choice institution can only apply after changing the University of Port Harcourt to their first choice on or before Tuesday, 2nd June 2026.

UNIPORT Post-UTME Registration Deadline

The online registration portal will close on:

Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline, as late applications will not be accepted.

How to Apply for UNIPORT Post-UTME 2026/2027

Follow the steps below to complete your registration:

Step 1: Visit the Registration Portal

Log on to:

utmedetails.uniport.edu.ng

Step 2: Verify Your Details

  • Enter your UTME Registration Number.
  • Confirm your pre-loaded UTME information.

Step 3: Generate Payment Invoice

  • Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
  • Pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 only.

Payment can be made:

  • Online using an ATM card.
  • At any commercial bank through the Remita platform.

Step 4: Confirm Payment

Return to the portal and log in using your UTME Registration Number to verify your payment.

Step 5: Complete Registration

  • Fill out the online application form.
  • Submit all required information accurately.

Step 6: Print Your Photo Card

After successful registration, print your Photo Card, which serves as your screening clearance slip.

The Photo Card will contain:

  • Screening date
  • Screening time
  • Screening venue

Candidates are expected to come to the screening venue with:

  • A clear printed copy of the Photo Card
  • A pen

Name and Document Consistency

Any discrepancy in names, photographs, or personal details across O’Level certificates, UTME results, and registration documents may lead to disqualification.

Upload O’Level Results

Candidates must upload their WAEC, NECO, or equivalent results to the JAMB CAPS portal. Failure to do so may affect admission consideration.

  • Email address

The following items are strictly prohibited within the screening venue and its surroundings:

Attendance Requirement

Candidates must arrive at their assigned venue at the scheduled time indicated on their Photo Card. Late arrival may result in disqualification.

Parents and Guardians

Parents, guardians, and unauthorized security personnel will not be allowed into the university campus during the screening exercise.
