The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post UTME and Direct Entry online screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into the university.

Candidates who selected ESUT as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME, as well as those who wish to change their institution to ESUT, are invited to apply. Applicants who did not initially choose ESUT must first process a Change of Institution through JAMB before completing the university’s screening registration.

ESUT Post UTME Eligibility Requirements 2026/2027

To qualify for the ESUT 2026/2027 Post UTME Screening Exercise, candidates must:

• Choose ESUT as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME, or complete a Change of Institution to ESUT through JAMB.
• Meet the minimum UTME score required for their chosen course.
• Possess the required O’Level results.
• Complete the online screening registration before the deadline.

ESUT Post UTME Registration Fee

The screening application fee is ₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira) only.

ESUT Post UTME Registration Dates

• Registration Opens: Tuesday, 7th July, 2026
• Registration Closes: Saturday, 15th August, 2026

Applicants are advised to register before the closing date to avoid missing the opportunity.

How to Apply for ESUT Post UTME Screening 2026/2027

Follow the steps below to complete your application:

1. Visit the ESUT admission portal at portal.esut.edu.ng.
2. Click on 2026/2027 Admission Screening Registration under Regular Students.
3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
4. Fill in the required information to generate your payment invoice.
5. Pay the screening fee using either:
   • Any commercial bank through the generated invoice (Interswitch/Enugu State IGR Pay Direct), or
   • Your ATM/Debit Card online.
6. Return to the application portal.
7. Log in again using your JAMB Registration Number.
8. Complete the online application form.
9. Review and confirm all entries.
10. Submit your application.
11. Print your acknowledgement slip for future reference.

Important Notice to Applicants

Candidates should note the following:

• Screening is strictly online.
• No candidate is required to appear for a physical screening or aptitude test.
• Admission status will be communicated through both the ESUT Admission Portal and JAMB CAPS.
• Candidates awaiting WAEC, NECO or NABTEB May/June 2026 results are eligible to apply.
• Results released after 30th September, 2026 will not be accepted.
• All applicants must upload their O’Level results to JAMB CAPS.
• Names on UTME, O’Level certificates and other admission documents must be identical. Any inconsistency may lead to disqualification.
• Candidates must ensure every information supplied during registration is correct. False information will result in disqualification.

Information for Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry applicants who selected ESUT are also required to participate in the online screening exercise.

In addition, all Direct Entry candidates must ensure that their previous institutions verify and clear their academic records through the JAMB e-Facility portal.
