The management of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post UTME Screening Exercise. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into the College’s Full-Time National Diploma (ND) programmes and B.Sc. (Ed.) Technical Education programmes (100/200 Level) affiliated with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
The online application portal will remain open for four (4) weeks from the date of this announcement. Interested candidates are advised to complete their applications before the deadline.
YABATECH Post UTME 2026/2027 Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the YABATECH Post UTME screening, candidates must meet the following conditions:
1. First Choice Institution
Applicants must have selected Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) as their first-choice institution during the 2026 UTME.
2. Minimum UTME Score
Candidates must have scored at least 160 in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to qualify for:
- Full-Time National Diploma (ND) programmes
- B.Sc. (Ed.) Technical Education (100 Level) programmes affiliated with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN)
3. Direct Entry Candidates
Candidates applying for Direct Entry (200 Level) into the B.Sc. (Ed.) programmes affiliated with UNN are also required to apply through the YABATECH admission portal.
4. Age Requirement
Applicants must be at least 16 years old on or before September 30, 2026.
Candidates who do not meet this age requirement are advised not to apply.
5. Second or Third Choice Candidates
Candidates who selected YABATECH as their second or third choice institution must first change it to first choice on the JAMB portal before applying.
How to Apply for YABATECH Post UTME Form 2026/2027
Follow these simple steps to apply:
- Visit the official YABATECH website.
- Click on the “POST UTME SCREENING 2026/2027” link.
- Complete the online application form by following the instructions provided.
- Pay the non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.
Note: The ₦2,000 fee excludes result verification charges and other transaction fees.
Payments can be made online or through designated banks. YABATECH does not accept cash payments.
Important Instructions for Applicants
Candidates should take note of the following instructions:
- Ensure that all information provided during registration is accurate.
- Any incorrect information supplied by an applicant may result in disqualification.
- Candidates must maintain consistency in their names across all documents, including:
- O’Level result(s)
- UTME result
- Birth certificate (where applicable)
- Other admission documents
- Inconsistencies in names or passport photographs may lead to disqualification.
Applicants are solely responsible for errors made during the registration process.
