The University of Education and Entrepreneurship (UEE), Akamkpa, Cross River State, has announced an extension of the resumption date for all students for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The university management has fixed Friday, November 27, 2026, as the new resumption date for all students following a decision by the University Senate at an emergency meeting held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
According to a memo signed by the University Registrar, Amb. Gabriel O. Egbe, Ph.D., the decision was made to allow the institution to complete necessary arrangements for the commencement of the new academic session.
Reason for the UEE Akamkpa Resumption Date Extension
The university explained that the extension became necessary to enable it to host the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Batch C Orientation Course within its premises.
The revised date applies to all students of the University of Education and Entrepreneurship, Akamkpa.
Advice to Newly Admitted Students
Meanwhile, newly admitted students have been advised to take advantage of the extended resumption period to complete their online admission processes and fulfil all necessary admission requirements.
Fresh students are expected to complete the following tasks before resumption:
- Complete their online admission registration.
- Pay their acceptance fees.
- Settle other applicable charges.
- Prepare for the commencement of academic activities.
