The Abia State University (ABSU) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for Supplementary Admissions into its regular undergraduate degree programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This opportunity is open to candidates who participated in the 2025 UTME and the University’s Post-UTME screening but have not yet been offered admission into their initial choices of programmes.

📝 Procedure for Application
Qualified candidates are to follow the steps below to complete their application for supplementary admission:
- Visit the ABSU Portal
Log on to the University’s official portal at www.portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng. - Make Payment
Proceed to make an e-payment of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000.00) only for the Supplementary Admission form.
Payments can be made at any of the following approved banks:
- ABSU Micro-Finance Bank, Uturu
- First Bank Plc
- Signature Bank
- Zenith Bank Plc
- Fidelity Bank Plc
- Union Bank Plc
- UBA Plc
- OR via bank debit cards directly on the portal.
- Complete the Online Registration
After payment, candidates should return to the portal to fill in the required information and complete the Supplementary Admission form online. - Access Further Information

⏰ Application Deadline
The deadline for the completion of registration is Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
Interested candidates are advised to complete the process before the closing date as late applications will not be accepted.
