RSU Post-UTME 2026/2027 Latest Update
The management of Rivers State University (RSU) has announced an adjustment to the schedule of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise. The decision was made to accommodate candidates currently participating in the ongoing WAEC and NECO examinations.
All prospective candidates are advised to take note of the new registration deadline and screening dates.
RSU Post-UTME Registration Deadline Extended
According to the official announcement, the registration exercise, which was initially scheduled to close on Sunday, 7th June 2026, has now been extended.
New Registration Deadline:
Sunday, 21st June 2026
Candidates who have not yet completed their registration are encouraged to take advantage of this extension and complete the process before the new deadline.
RSU Post-UTME Screening Exercise Rescheduled
The university has also postponed the commencement of the Post-UTME screening exercise.
New Screening Date:
Tuesday, 21st July 2026
The screening exercise was originally scheduled to begin on Monday, 15th June 2026 but has now been moved to allow candidates enough time to conclude their external examinations.
Important Instructions for Candidates
All applicants are advised to:
- Complete their Post-UTME registration on or before 21st June 2026.
- Regularly check the university’s screening portal for updates and important announcements.
- Print their screening slip to confirm their specific screening date, time, and venue.
- Ensure all registration details are accurate before the deadline.
