The 2026 JAMB UTME results for candidates who sat for the examination on April 16th, 17th, 18th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd have now been officially released.
This update was confirmed by the Public Communication Advisor (PCA) of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Fabian Benjamin, via X (formerly Twitter).
If you wrote the UTME on any of these dates, you can now proceed to check your result using the official SMS method outlined below.
How to Check 2026 JAMB UTME Result via SMS
At the moment, candidates can only check their results using the SMS method. Follow these steps carefully:
- Open your phone’s messaging app
- Type UTMERESULT (as one word, no space)
- Send the message to 55019 or 66019
- Ensure you use the same phone number used during JAMB registration
- Make sure you have at least ₦50 airtime balance
📌 Important: This is currently the only available method to check your result.

Can You Print Your JAMB Result Now?
No. At this stage, candidates can only view their results via SMS. The option to print the official JAMB result slip is not yet available. Updates will be provided once printing begins.

After checking your result, you can:
- Take a screenshot of your score
- Share your experience with others
However, for your safety, do NOT share sensitive information, such as:
- ❌ JAMB Registration Number
- ❌ Full Name
- ❌ Phone Number or Email
Instead, you can share:
- ✅ Your subject scores
- ✅ Total UTME score
- ✅ Exam date
- ✅ Chosen institution
- ✅ Intended course of study

Candidates who wrote their exams on April 23rd and 24th are advised to remain patient, as their results will be released soon.
