LAUTECH Post-UTME/DE 2025: cut-off marks, eligibility and registration details

This is to inform all candidates who selected Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso as their first-choice institution in the 2025/2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE) that the University’s admission portal will be open for online registration from Friday, July 25, 2025, to Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 170 marks in the 2025/2026 UTME to be eligible for screening.
2. All candidates are required to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before August 20, 2025.
3. Applicants must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025 to qualify for admission.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. UTME candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects obtained in no more than two (2) sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
2. Direct Entry candidates must possess any of the following qualifications with a minimum of five (5) relevant credit passes in O’Level:
   • University degree (minimum Second Class Lower)
   • ND (Upper Credit)
   • NCE (minimum Merit)
   • HND (Lower Credit)
   • RNS or JUPEB
3. Applicants for Medicine, Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science must have obtained five (5) relevant credit passes in a single sitting only.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

1. Candidates awaiting results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) may apply but must upload them to JAMB CAPS by August 20, 2025.
2. Inconsistencies in personal details (such as name, date of birth, or state of origin) across documents may result in disqualification.
3. Admission will be based on a weighted score of 80% UTME result and 20% O’Level grades.
4. Any offer of admission on JAMB CAPS not accepted within three (3) weeks of upload will be automatically forfeited or withdrawn.

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES

Direct Entry applicants must:

• Obtain a DE form from JAMB.
• Forward their academic transcripts to the University at least one (1) week before the screening date to:

The Oral and Written Interviews for Direct Entry candidates will hold on Monday, August 25 and Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at The Hall, LAUTECH Campus, Ogbomoso.
Failure to attend will result in automatic disqualification.
