UNILORIN Post-UTME/DE 2025: cut-off mark, eligibility and registration details

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session.

All candidates who selected UNILORIN as their first choice institution in the UTME or Direct Entry (DE) are hereby invited to register for the screening via the official university portal: www.unilorin.edu.ng.

📅 Screening Registration Period:

• Start Date: Monday, 28th July 2025 (00:01 am)
• End Date: Sunday, 10th August 2025 (11:59 pm)

⚠ Important Notice:

• Wrong entries will result in automatic disqualification.
• Admission will be based on a weighted aggregate of:
  • UTME/DE Score: 50%
  • Post-UTME Screening Score: 30%
  • Five (5) relevant O’level subjects: 20%

✅ Basic Requirements Before Registration:

1. A valid personal email address and phone number (not a third-party contact).
2. Correct JAMB details (UTME/DE).
3. O’level/A’level result (or indicate ‘AR’ if awaiting).
4. A ₦2,000 screening fee (payable online via Remita).

🖥 How to Register for UNILORIN Post-UTME/DE 2025:

1. Visit https://portal.unilorin.edu.ng/ug/candidate/
2. Click on “Pre-Admission Screening Registration” from the sidebar.
3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and Surname.
4. Click “Get Details” to fetch your data.
5. Fill in your O’level or A’level results.
6. Click “Make Payment” and proceed through Remita using your ATM card.
7. After payment:
   • Go back to the portal,
   • Click on “Admission Login”,
   • Enter your details,
   • Click “Next Step”, complete your registration, and click “Submit”.

⚠ Do not refresh your browser during payment to avoid duplicate charges.
For payment issues, re-enter your JAMB Reg. No. and click the resolution link provided on the portal.

📌 Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:

In addition to the steps above, DE candidates must:

• Choose their highest academic qualification from the dropdown menu during registration.
• Ensure that their DE upgrade is reflected on JAMB CAPS before registering on the UNILORIN portal.

🔁 Course Change?

If you wish to change your course or programme, do it on JAMB CAPS only. UNILORIN will automatically synchronize changes from JAMB.

⚠ Single Sitting Requirement:

Only one sitting of O’level results will be accepted for the following courses:

• Medicine & Surgery (MB;BS)
• Pharmacy
• Optometry & Vision Science
• Computer Engineering

Candidates for these programmes must upload only ONE SITTING result both on JAMB CAPS and UNILORIN Portal.

📝 Final Notes:

• Ensure all information, especially your UTME subjects, scores, and top five relevant O’level subjects, are correctly filled.
• Mismatched or false entries will lead to disqualification—even if discovered after admission.
• Make sure the O’Level result uploaded on UNILORIN portal matches the one on JAMB CAPS.
