This is to inform all prospective candidates that the Federal University of Technology, Babura (FUTB), Jigawa Statehas officially opened its Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.
📌 Screening Schedule
- Start Date: Monday, 28th July 2025
- Deadline: Saturday, 31st August 2025
- Application Mode: Online
✅ Eligibility Criteria
UTME Candidates:
- Must have chosen FUTB as their first choice during JAMB registration.
- Must score a minimum of 150 in the 2025 UTME.
- Must possess at least 5 relevant O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English, in not more than two sittings.
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:
- National Diploma (ND), NCE, or Innovative Diploma: Minimum of Lower Credit.
- IJMB: Minimum of 4 points in two relevant subjects.
- O’Level requirements as stated above apply.

📝 How to Apply for FUTB Post-UTME 2025
- Visit the portal: https://futb.edu.ng and click on the Admission menu to access the Post-UTME Portal.
- Check eligibility:
- Input your JAMB Registration Number to confirm eligibility.
- Click on “More Information” to view course requirements and fees.
- Create an Account:
- You can either sign up using Google or fill out the manual signup form.
- An activation code will be sent to your email. Enter it to confirm and activate your account.
- Login and Make Payment:
- Log into your account and proceed to the payment page.
- After successful payment, preview your application and click Proceed to Application Form.
- Complete the Form:
- Fill in all required sections and upload necessary documents.
- Click Preview and Submit to finalize your application.
💳 How to Check Payment Status
- Go to your dashboard and click on Transaction History.
- If status is pending but you’ve been debited, click the three-dot menu beside the transaction.
- Select Check Status, then Try Again. If successful, your status will be updated.
