Bayero University, Kano (BUK) wishes to inform all candidates who applied for admission through the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that the Online Screening Exercise will hold from:

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have chosen Bayero University Kano as their First Choice in the 2025 UTME.
- Candidates must have scored not less than the approved minimum score for their chosen faculty/programme (check the BUK website for cut-off marks).
How to Apply for BUK Post-UTME Screening
Step 1: Login
- Visit the official screening portal:

Step 2: Profile Update
- Username: UTME Registration Number
- Password: UTME aggregate score
- Fill in the required details.
- The photograph uploaded from your JAMB profile will be the only valid ID photo for your stay in BUK.
Step 3: Generate Payment Invoice
- Generate and download your Personalised Payment Invoice (PPI) containing your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
- Pay the screening fee of ₦2,000 via:
- Credit/Debit Card
- Internet Banking
- Commercial Banks nationwide (using the printed invoice)
- After payment:
- For online payments, print your acknowledgement slip instantly.
- For bank payments, process your payment on the portal using the “Check Your Payment” button before printing your acknowledgement slip.
Important Notes
- Upload O’Level Results: Visit any JAMB Office or accredited CBT centre to upload your O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, or equivalent) on JAMB CAPS before screening. Only candidates who do this can be recommended for admission.
- Maximum Results Allowed: You can combine a maximum of two O’Level results.
- Special Candidates: Blind and foreign candidates are exempt from the aptitude test but must complete online registration.
- Preparation Tip: Get BUK Post-UTME Past Questions & Answers to prepare adequately.
- Accuracy: Supplying false information will result in disqualification.
- Deadline: Candidates who fail to register within the screening period will not be considered.
