PUMS Admission Requirements 2026/2027
UTME Candidates
To qualify for admission into PUMS, candidates must:
- Have participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
- Choose PUMS as their first-choice institution
- Possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Obtain the required credits in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or equivalent examinations
- Score a minimum of 170 in the 2026 UTME
MBBS Programme Requirement
Candidates applying for MBBS (Medicine & Surgery) must:
- Possess the required O’Level subjects
- Score at least 220 in the 2026 UTME
Important Notice
All applicants must upload their WAEC/NECO results or equivalent on the JAMB CAPS portal.
Eligibility for PUMS Post-UTME Screening
The following candidates are eligible to apply:
- Candidates who selected PUMS as their first-choice institution during UTME registration
- Candidates willing to study at PUMS but did not initially choose the institution must apply for a Change of Institution through the JAMB portal
- Candidates awaiting SSCE results are also eligible to apply
International Applicants
International candidates are advised to comply strictly with JAMB-approved admission guidelines for Nigerian universities.
How to Apply for PUMS Admission 2026/2027
Interested applicants should follow the steps below:
- Visit the official PUMS portal: PUMS Official Website
- Click on the “Apply Online” option under the Admissions menu
- Enter your JAMB registration number and click “Check Eligibility”
- Complete the online application form with accurate details
- Upload all required supporting documents
- Submit the application form online

Applicants are required to upload scanned copies of the following:
- WAEC/NECO Result (if available)
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
- Local Government Identification
- Letter of Attestation/Reference
PUMS Admission Application Fee
- Application Fee: ₦10,000 only
Payment Procedure
- Click on “Make Payment”
- Copy the provided bank account number
- Make payment via bank transfer or direct deposit
- Upload evidence of payment on the portal
- Complete final submission and print the clearance form
