The management of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has officially announced the commencement of its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Candidates who selected UNIUYO as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 150 are invited to apply. Direct Entry (DE) candidates who chose the University of Uyo as their first choice are also eligible to participate in the screening exercise.

UNIUYO Post UTME Eligibility Requirements 2026/2027
To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must:
- Choose the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) as their First Choice institution.
- Score at least 150 in the 2026 UTME.
- Be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026.
- Correctly complete and submit the online Bio-data form.
- Upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS on or before August 31, 2026.
- Direct Entry candidates must upload scanned copies of their higher academic qualifications.
Candidates awaiting O’Level results (AR) are also eligible to apply.
UNIUYO Post UTME Application Fee 2026/2027
Eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee of:
₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira Only)
Payment should be made through the University’s admission portal.
How to Apply for UNIUYO Post UTME Screening Form 2026/2027
Follow the steps below to complete your application:
Step 1: Access the Admission Portal
- Visit the UNIUYO e-Portal.
- Click on Admission Portal or proceed directly to the admissions portal.
- Select Apply Now.
- First-time users should click Create Account.
- Fill in the required details and verify your email address to activate your account.
Step 2: Generate Payment Invoice and Pay
- Log in to your account.
- Navigate to the Application Fee section.
- Select your application type (Post UTME or Direct Entry).
- Generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
- Make payment online or at any designated bank using the generated RRR.
- Return to the portal to confirm payment.
Step 3: Complete the Application Form
- Navigate to the Application Form section.
- Click Start New Application.
- Fill in all required information correctly.
- Review and submit your application.
Step 4: Print Your Screening Slip
After successful submission:
- Print the 2026/2027 Screening Exercise Slip.
- Keep the slip safely for future reference.
Important Information for Applicants
Candidates should take note of the following:
- Ensure all bio-data provided is accurate and consistent.
- Submission of multiple applications may lead to disqualification.
- Candidates who upload incorrect information will automatically be disqualified.
- Registration for the screening exercise is compulsory for admission consideration.
- Foreign candidates, inmates of correctional centres, as well as blind and deaf candidates are exempted from the Post UTME screening exercise.
- O’Level results must be uploaded and refreshed on JAMB CAPS before the stipulated deadline.
