Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University (KOMU) has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to the university management, the online application portal will open on June 1, 2026, and close on July 31, 2026. Interested candidates are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.

KOMU Post UTME 2026/2027 Screening Method

The university stated that the screening exercise will be conducted strictly online using candidates’ verified JAMB scores and O’Level results uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal.

Candidates are advised to ensure their O’Level results are properly uploaded and verified to avoid disqualification during the admission process.

KOMU Post UTME Eligibility Requirements 2026/2027

1. Change of Institution Candidates

Candidates who did not initially select KOMU as their first-choice institution during the 2026 UTME but scored at least 150 are eligible to apply for programmes requiring a minimum score of 150.

However, such candidates must first carry out a Change of Institution to Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University through the JAMB portal before applying.

2. First Choice Candidates

Candidates who selected KOMU as their first-choice institution during UTME registration are eligible to apply for competitive programmes requiring JAMB scores of 200 and above.

It is important to note that candidates who later change their institution to KOMU after UTME registration will not be considered for admission into these high-demand programmes.
