Prospective candidates are hereby informed that the UI admission portal will be open for registration from Monday, June 22, 2026, to Sunday, July 19, 2026.
UI Post-UTME 2026 Eligibility Requirements
Only candidates who:
- Chose the University of Ibadan as their preferred institution in the 2026 UTME.
- Scored 200 and above in the 2026 UTME examination.

UI Post-UTME & Direct Entry Registration Procedure 2026
Candidates are required to visit the University of Ibadan Admission Portal and log in using:
- Username: JAMB Registration Number (e.g., 202612345678EG)
- Password: Surname (e.g., OYESANMI, CHIBUZOR, UMAR)
Registration Fees
Applicants are required to pay:
- Portal Access Fee: ₦3,000
- Screening Fee: ₦2,000
Total Payment: ₦5,000
Payments must be made through the University of Ibadan Admission Portal.
Available Payment Options
Candidates can make payment through any of the following methods:
- ATM Card Payment
- Credit or Debit Card transactions.
- Bank Transfer
- Direct transfer using internet banking platforms.
- Bank Branch Payment
- Generate payment details from the portal and pay directly at any designated bank branch.
After successful payment, candidates should print and keep the payment receipt for future reference.
University of Ibadan Post-UTME Screening Date 2026
The University of Ibadan Post-UTME examination is scheduled to hold from:
Monday, July 27, 2026, to Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
The specific examination date, venue, and time for each candidate will be communicated later by the university.
Candidates are strongly advised to provide:

Important Admission Requirements for UI 2026/2027
Age Requirement
Candidates who will not be 16 years old by September 30, 2026 may not be considered for admission into the University of Ibadan.
O’Level Requirements
College of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy
Candidates applying to these faculties must possess:
- Five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects
- Obtained in one sitting
Other Faculties
Candidates presenting results from two sittings must have:
- At least six (6) credits in relevant subjects
Accepted Qualifications for Direct Entry Admission
The University of Ibadan accepts the following qualifications for Direct Entry admission:
- WAEC
- NECO
- Cambridge Advanced Level
- NCE
- ND
- HND
- Bachelor’s Degree certificates from recognized institutions
Note: The University of Ibadan does not accept IJMB or JUPEB qualifications for Direct Entry admission.
Direct Entry Candidates Upload of Credentials
All Direct Entry applicants are required to upload their credentials through the designated university email address as instructed by the institution.
Candidates should ensure that all documents are correctly uploaded before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
