1. Admission Requirements
- O’Level Result: Minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics.
- JAMB UTME Score Requirements:
- Medicine & Surgery – 200
- Nursing – 180
- Law – 200
- Architecture & Computer Science – 160
- Education – 130
- Other Programmes – 150
Note: Candidates who did not select Godfrey Okoye University as their first choice in JAMB are required to do a Change of Institution to GOUNI.
- A valid JAMB Admission Letter is mandatory to complete the admission process.
2. Modes of Admission
Candidates may apply via:
- UTME (with valid JAMB score)
- Direct Entry (with current JAMB DE form)
- JUPEB (with a strong O’Level result)
- Postgraduate (for applicants with a First Degree)
3. Admission Procedure
- Applications must be submitted online.
- After submission, a response will be sent to the candidate’s email within three (3) working days indicating whether admission has been offered.
- Applicants can apply for programmes under the College of Medicine, Faculties of Arts, Education, Law, Management and Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences & Environmental Studies.
4. Payment of Fees
- Medicine, Nursing, and Law applicants: Do not pay tuition until instructed via email by the University Admissions Office.
- Applicants in other faculties may begin payment upon receiving an admission offer.
Fees include: Acceptance Fee, Tuition, ICT fee, and other relevant charges. Refer to the attached fee structure and follow the university’s guidelines for online payment.
