IAUE 2025/2026 Admission Update: Important Information for Admitted and Prospective Candidates
Following the completion of the admission screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session—which involved physical screening, biometric enrollment, and ranking based on JAMB UTME scores—the management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) has officially released the list of successful candidates admitted into various departments and faculties.
IAUE 3rd Batch Admission List Released
All UTME and Direct Entry candidates whose names appear on the Supplementary Admission List (Batch C) are advised to visit the university’s official website to review clearance requirements and follow the necessary procedures.
Step-by-Step Guide to Confirm and Accept Your Admission
1. Confirm Your Admission Status
- Visit the JAMB CAPS portal to check your admission status.
- Once admitted, proceed to accept or reject your offer.
2. Accept Admission via SMS
Using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile:
- Type:
[Your JAMB Registration Number] [space] ACCEPT
e.g.,202551991244FA ACCEPT - Send to 55019 or 66019.
You’ll receive a confirmation message containing your details.
3. Print Admission Documents
After accepting your admission, print the following from the JAMB portal:
- JAMB Admission Letter
- UTME Result Slip (colored copy)
These documents will be required for clearance.
4. Pay the Acceptance Fee
- Payment began on Wednesday, 17th September 2025.
- Log in to the IAUE student portal to pay and complete your registration process.
5. Commence Clearance
- Departmental and faculty clearance started on Monday, 22nd September 2025.
- All clearance must be completed within four weeks of publication—by 21st November 2025.
6. Stay Updated
Additional admission lists will be released as JAMB continues to approve more candidates.
Supplementary admissions for UTME, DE, JUPEB, and Basic programmes are still ongoing.
Important Notice for Candidates Yet to Be Admitted
The JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) is now fully active for IAUE 2025/2026 admissions. Candidates are strongly advised to monitor their admission progress regularly through the JAMB portal.
Key Steps to Follow:
1. Verify O’Level Upload
- Log into JAMB eFacility → Check Admission Status → Access My CAPS.
- Confirm that your O’Level results are uploaded.
Candidates with “Awaiting Result” status will not be processed.
2. Monitor Admission Progress
Check your CAPS frequently to see when you are recommended or offered admission.
3. Handle Transfer of Programme
If you receive a transfer offer, respond promptly under the “Transfer Approval” section in CAPS—either accept or reject the new course.
4. Upload All Required Results
- UTME candidates – Upload O’Level results.
- DE/JUPEB candidates – Upload both A’Level and O’Level results.
5. Access CAPS Properly
When using a mobile phone, open the CAPS portal with Google Chrome in desktop mode; otherwise, you may only see a “Welcome” message instead of your admission details.
