Educational Guide: University of Ibadan (UI) Admission List for the 2025/2026 Academic Session
The University of Ibadan (UI) has officially released its Provisional Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who participated in the 2024/2025 Admission Screening Exercise are advised to check their admission status to confirm if they have been offered admission.
The admission list has been uploaded online via the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Candidates are to follow the steps below to check their status.
How to Check Your Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
- Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
- Log in using your registered email address and password.
- Click on “Check Admission Status.”
- Select “Access my CAPS.”
- Click on “Admission Status” to view your result.
- If offered admission, you will see your photo and a congratulatory message.
- If not yet offered admission, you will see “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet.”
Accepting or Rejecting Admission
Candidates who have been offered admission should either accept or reject the offer by sending ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.
Those without access to their registered phone numbers should visit a JAMB-accredited centre to complete this process. Note that admission offers must be accepted within four (4) weeks, or they will be forfeited.
After accepting the offer, candidates are advised to print their JAMB Admission Letter, as it will be required during clearance and registration at the University.
Important Note for Mobile Users
Candidates checking via mobile phones may not see the full CAPS page or the “Admission Status” option. To fix this, open the page in Chrome browser, tap the menu icon, and select “Request Desktop Site” to view the complete interface.
