Educational Guide: University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) Releases 2025/2026 Primary Admission List
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has released the Primary Admission List for candidates who participated in the 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening Exercise. The list of successful candidates is available in the attached PDF file provided by the University.
Instructions to Candidates Offered Provisional Admission
All candidates who have been offered provisional admission are required to follow the steps below to formally accept their admission offer and begin the registration process.
Step 1: Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS
- Visit the JAMB CAPS portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
- Log in with your registered email and password.
- Click “Accept Admission” to confirm your offer.
Note: Candidates who fail to accept their admission on JAMB CAPS will not be issued a JAMB Admission Letter and will be considered as not admitted.
Step 2: Generate Payment Invoice
- Visit the UNN official website www.unn.edu.ng or the student portal unnportal.edu.ng.
- Log in using your JAMB Registration Number to generate and download a Payment Invoice containing a Remita (RRR) number.
- This invoice will enable you to make your payment at any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.
Step 3: Pay the Acceptance Fee
- Using the generated invoice, pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (₦30,000) at the bank.
- Ensure that the invoice number is entered correctly at the bank.
- Collect your confirmation slip, which contains both your confirmation number and invoice number.
Step 4: Complete Acceptance and Registration Online
- Return to the UNN portal, log in again with your JAMB Registration Number, confirmation number, and invoice number.
- Print your Admission Slip and complete the Acceptance Form online.
- Proceed to pay other necessary fees and complete your registration as outlined on the UNN website.
Important Notice
- The admission is provisional, pending full verification of your credentials.
- If it is discovered at any point—even in the final year—that a candidate does not meet the minimum university, faculty, or departmental entry requirements as stated by the University Senate and published in the JAMB Brochure, the admission offer will be withdrawn.
