The University of Ibadan wishes to inform all prospective candidates that the admission portal will be open for Post-UTME and Direct Entry registration from Monday, 21st July to Saturday, 17th August 2025.
Only candidates who scored 200 and above in the 2025 UTME and made the University of Ibadan their first choice are eligible to apply.
Please Note:
There may be no extension of the registration deadline.

DATE OF POST-UTME EXAMINATION
The Post-UTME screening exercise will hold from Monday, 25th to Wednesday, 27th August 2025.
Candidates are encouraged to prepare thoroughly by obtaining the official UI Post-UTME Past Questions and Answers.

Each candidate’s exact examination date and time will be communicated via the contact details provided during registration.
Candidates must therefore ensure they use valid and active email addresses and phone numbers. The University will not be held responsible for missed information due to incorrect or inactive contact details.
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2025 to be eligible for admission.
- O’Level Requirements:
- For programmes in the College of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy, candidates must possess five (5) credits at one sitting in relevant O’level subjects.
- For other programmes, candidates may present two sittings with a minimum of six (6) credits in relevant subjects.
- Direct Entry Candidates:
- UI only accepts WAEC, NECO, Cambridge A-Level, NCE, ND, HND, and Degree certificates from recognised institutions.
- IJMB and JUPEP are not accepted.
- All Direct Entry candidates must upload their credentials to: [email protected]
