ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY

  1. UTME Candidates:
    • Candidates who selected Ondo State University of Medical Sciences as their first choice and scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME are eligible for the Post-UTME screening.
    • Candidates who did not choose UNIMED initially but wish to change to UNIMED as their first choice may also apply.
  2. UTME Subject Requirements:
    • All health-related courses require: English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
    • For Computer SciencePhysics, and Chemistry, candidates must have: English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  3. O’Level Requirements:
    • Minimum of five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in WAEC, NECO, or GCE, obtained in one or two sittings as required by the department.
    • For Medicine & SurgeryDentistry, and Doctor of Physiotherapyall five credits must be obtained in a single sitting.
  4. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:
    • Must have applied through JAMB and chosen UNIMED as their first choice, or be willing to change to UNIMED.
    • Must possess A-level qualifications (Cambridge, JUPEB, IJMB) with a minimum of 10 points, or hold an ND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree.
    • DE applicants must also meet the relevant O’Level requirements.
  5. Transcript Submission for DE Candidates:
    • Official academic transcripts must be sent directly from the previous institution to:
      The Registrar, University of Medical Sciences, Laje Road Campus, Medical Village, Ondo City, Ondo State.
    • Note: Failure to submit transcripts will disqualify the applicant from admission consideration.

SCREENING REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must bring the following items to the screening venue:

  • JAMB 2025 UTME Notification of Result or DE Registration Slip
  • Printed copy of the 2025 UNIMED Post-UTME Screening Slip
