The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) invites qualified candidates to apply for admission into its full-time, part-time, and sandwich postgraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

General Admission Requirements
1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD):
- Applicants must hold at least a Third Class Honours Degree or Higher National Diploma (Upper Credit) in a related discipline.
2. Master’s Degree (M.A./M.Sc./M.Ed., etc.):
- Candidates must possess at least a Second Class Lower Degree or its equivalent in a relevant field.
- Some departments may require work experience or a qualifying test/interview.
3. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.):
- Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in a related discipline with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5-point scale.
- Candidates are expected to submit and successfully defend a research proposal at an oral interview.
