The Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for admission into various undergraduate programmes.
Registration for the screening exercise begins on Monday, 25th May 2026 and closes on Tuesday, 30th June 2026.
Candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME and selected AE-FUNAI as their first-choice institution are invited to apply online.

Who is Eligible for AE-FUNAI Post UTME 2026/2027?
Candidates are eligible to apply if they:
- Scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME
- Chose Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike as their first-choice institution
- Possess the required O’Level credits relevant to their chosen course
Candidates who did not initially choose AE-FUNAI can still apply, but they must complete a Change of Institution/Course on the JAMB portal before 30th June 2026.
This also applies to Direct Entry (DE) candidates.

How to Apply for AE-FUNAI Post UTME Form 2026/2027
Follow the steps below to complete your application successfully:

Step 2: Start Application
- Click on Admissions
- Select Apply Now
Step 3: Validate Your Profile
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number
- Provide a valid email address and phone number
Step 4: Verify Email
- Confirm your email using the OTP sent to your inbox
Step 5: Make Payment
- Pay the sum of ₦2,000 via bank transfer to the account provided on the portal
- Click “I have made payment” after transfer
Step 6: Complete Registration
- Finish the application process
- Print your registration acknowledgement slip
Important Notice to Candidates
All applicants must ensure their:
- O’Level results
- Direct Entry results
are uploaded to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) on or before 30th June 2026.
Any application without uploaded results on JAMB CAPS will not be processed.

AE-FUNAI Screening Method
The 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise will be conducted through an internal screening of candidates’ credentials and results.
There will be no physical aptitude test announced at this stage.
