Edo State University (ESUI) Post UTME & Direct Entry Form 2026/2027 Now Available

Edo State University, Iyamho (ESUI) has officially commenced the sale of its Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening forms for the 2026/2027 academic session. Candidates who chose the university as their first-choice institution and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME, as well as Direct Entry applicants, are invited to apply.

ESUI Post UTME Registration 2026/2027 Deadline

  • Application Opens: Friday, June 12, 2026
  • Application Closes: Monday, August 31, 2026

Interested candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline.

Eligibility Requirements for ESUI Post UTME Screening 2026/2027

To qualify for the screening exercise, candidates must:

  • Have participated in the 2026 UTME and scored a minimum of 150 or the approved cut-off mark for their chosen course.
  • Possess the required O’Level credits as specified in the JAMB Brochure.
  • Have selected Edo State University, Iyamho as their first-choice institution.
  • Direct Entry applicants must have registered through JAMB and satisfy the University’s DE admission requirements.
  • Be at least 16 years old on or before September 30, 2026.
  • Candidates who did not initially choose ESUI but scored at least 150 may apply after changing their first-choice institution to ESUI through JAMB CAPS.
  • Upload their O’Level results to JAMB CAPS on or before August 31, 2026.

ESUI Post UTME Application Fee 2026/2027

The application fees are as follows:

  • UTME & Direct Entry Screening Fee: ₦2,000 (Non-refundable)
  • Inter-University Transfer Application Fee: ₦60,000 (Non-refundable)

Important: Payments should only be made through the official Remita platform on the university website. Do not pay money into private accounts or to individuals.

How to Apply for Edo State University Post UTME Form 2026/2027

Follow the steps below to register:

Step 1

Visit the ESUI Admission Portal.

Step 2

Select your preferred admission category:

  • Undergraduate Admission
  • Transfer Admission
  • JUPEB Admission
  • Postgraduate Admission

Step 3

Read the admission requirements and guidelines carefully.

Step 4

Click on Application Forms and enter your JAMB Registration Number correctly.

Step 5

Provide a valid email address and active phone number.

Step 6

Complete the application form and upload all required documents.

Step 7

Use the “Already Applied?” option to monitor your application status.

Screening Exercise Format

Physical Screening

Candidates applying for:

  • Medicine and Surgery
  • Nursing
  • Law

will be required to participate in an on-campus Post UTME Screening Test. The examination schedule will be announced later.

Admission consideration will be based on:

  • Post UTME Test Score
  • Verified JAMB Score
  • O’Level Results uploaded on JAMB CAPS

Online Screening

Candidates applying for all other courses will undergo online screening based on:

  • Verified JAMB Score
  • O’Level Results uploaded to JAMB CAPS

Direct Entry applicants will also be screened online, except those applying for Medicine, Nursing, and Law, who must participate in the Post-DE Screening Test.

Important Information for Applicants

  • Ensure all details on your JAMB CAPS profile match those on your ESUI application form.
  • Provide valid phone numbers and email addresses for communication.
  • Candidates awaiting WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results may apply.
  • All pending results must be uploaded to JAMB CAPS on or before August 31, 2026.
  • Only completed applications submitted before the deadline will be considered.
  • Candidates offered admission must accept the offer on JAMB CAPS within two weeks, or the admission will be withdrawn automatically.

Notice to Candidates Changing Institution

Candidates who did not initially choose Edo State University as their first-choice institution but meet the required cut-off mark must first change their institution to ESUI through JAMB CAPS before proceeding with the application.
