The management of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) has officially announced the commencement of the 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise for prospective undergraduate students seeking admission into the institution.
Interested candidates who meet the admission requirements are advised to complete their registration before the deadline and carefully follow all application guidelines.
MOUAU Post UTME 2026/2027 Eligibility Requirements
Candidates are eligible to apply for the MOUAU 2026/2027 admission screening exercise if they:
- Scored 150 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Selected Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) as their First Choice Institution during JAMB registration.
Candidates who initially selected another university can still apply by changing their institution to MOUAU as their First Choice through the JAMB Portal before proceeding with the screening registration.
Applicants are advised to review the courses available at MOUAU before applying.
MOUAU Post UTME Registration Date
Registration for the 2026/2027 admission screening exercise commenced on June 6, 2026.
How to Apply for MOUAU Post UTME Screening 2026/2027
Candidates should follow the steps below to complete their registration:
Step 1: Visit the University Portal
Visit the official MOUAU website and click on the 2026/2027 Admission Screening banner.
Step 2: Enter Required Details
Provide the following information:
- JAMB Registration Number
- Valid Email Address
- Valid Phone Number of the candidate or guardian
Step 3: Generate Remita Payment Invoice
After submitting your details, you will be redirected to the Remita payment platform where an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) number will be generated.
Step 4: Pay the Screening Fee
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.00.
Payment can be made through:
- Debit or Credit Card
- Any commercial bank nationwide using the generated RRR number
Note: Additional transaction charges may apply.
Step 5: Validate Your Payment
After successful payment, validate your payment on the university portal before proceeding with the registration process.
Step 6: Complete the Online Application Form
Fill out the online application form carefully and select your preferred course of study.
Some information may already be pre-filled and cannot be edited.
Important O’Level Result Information
All applicants must upload their WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results through an accredited JAMB CBT Centre.
Candidates should note the following:
- O’Level results and number of sittings are part of the admission screening criteria.
- The O’Level upload section on the university portal has been disabled.
- The university retrieves candidates’ O’Level results directly from JAMB CAPS.
- Candidates who have already uploaded their results through a JAMB CBT Centre should use the “View Verified Result” option during registration to confirm that their results have been successfully uploaded.
Candidates Awaiting Results
Candidates awaiting the release of their 2026 WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results are advised not to register until their results become available.
Once the results are released, such candidates can proceed with the screening registration.
