The management of Edo State University Uzairue (formerly Edo University Iyamho) wishes to inform the general public that the 2025/2026 UTME, Direct Entry, and Inter-University Transfer admission forms are now on sale.
GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
(I) UTME Admission
- Admission is open to candidates who sat for the 2025 UTME.
- Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes, including English and Mathematics, in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB or equivalent.
- For Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), the required five credits must be obtained in one sitting.
- Candidates awaiting results may also apply.
- All applicants must undergo the EDSU Screening Exercise.
- Candidates who did not initially choose EDSU as first choice must:
- Apply for a Change of Institution on the JAMB portal.
- Complete the EDSU online application form at www.edouniversity.edu.ng
(II) Direct Entry Admission
EDSU accepts any of the following qualifications for Direct Entry into 200 Level:
- NCE (minimum of Merit), OND/HND (minimum of Credit), or a university degree in a relevant field.
- Two A-Level passes in relevant subjects.
- IJMB, JUPEB, or Cambridge A-Level at acceptable grades.
- In all cases, candidates must also satisfy the O’Level entry requirements.
- Candidates must process the 2025 JAMB Direct Entry form.
(III) Inter-University Transfer
Candidates from other NUC-accredited universities may transfer to EDSU if they:
- Complete the online Inter-University Transfer application form.
- Attend and pass the EDSU screening/interview.
- Meet the minimum admission requirements for their chosen programme.
- Possess a valid JAMB admission letter from their current institution.
- Have their academic transcript sent directly to EDSU.
- Possess a minimum CGPA of 1.5.
