In response to the prevailing economic and security challenges in Nigeria, the Management of Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has adopted an Online Point-Based Screening System for the 2025/2026 admission exercise. This system allows eligible UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates to complete their screening process from anywhere, without physical presence on campus.
🗓 Registration Timeline
The online Post-UTME/DE registration begins on Monday, July 28, 2025, and ends on Friday, August 29, 2025, by 11:59 PM. All candidates must complete their screening within this window as no extension will be granted.
✅ Who is Eligible?
To participate in the screening exercise, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Must have chosen Federal University Lokoja as their First Choice in the 2025 UTME.
- Scored 160 and above in the 2025 UTME.
- Must upload valid O’Level result(s) on the JAMB e-Facility portal. (Note: Candidates using awaiting resultsmay register but will not be screened until the results are uploaded).
- For DE applicants, valid academic transcripts or certificates from recognized institutions must be provided.
❗ Warning: Uploading falsified documents will lead to disqualification and possible legal action, even after admission has been granted.
📝 Step-by-Step Screening Procedure
- Ensure O’Level Result is Uploaded to JAMB Portal
- This must be done before visiting the FUL Post-UTME Portal.
- Only candidates who have uploaded their results are eligible for screening.
- Visit the Screening Portal
- Go to www.fulokoja.edu.ng
- Navigate to: Admissions → Undergraduate → Post-UTME Portal
- Log in with your JAMB Registration Number.
- Update Your Profile
- Fill in your personal details on the Biodata Page.
- DE applicants must also update their academic records.
- Make Payment
- Generate a Remita RRR Invoice and pay the ₦2,000 screening fee via ATM card or bank payment.
- Return to the portal and click “Pay Now” to complete the transaction.
- Complete the Screening
- Select your preferred course from the dropdown.
- Choose five relevant O’Level subjects.
- Upload your O’Level result(s).
- Your screening result will be generated and displayed automatically.
📌 Admission Requirements
- Minimum of Five (5) O’Level Credit Passes in relevant subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- For Health Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences, candidates must have all five credit passes in one sitting.
- A credit in English Language is compulsory for all courses.
- DE candidates must present valid qualifications such as NCE, OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree from recognized institutions.

⚠️ Important Notes
- Participation in screening does not guarantee admission. All applications will be reviewed by the Central Admissions Committee.
- Falsification or suppression of information will lead to disqualification.
- Ensure you provide functional email addresses and phone numbers, as all updates will be communicated through these channels.
- All payments are non-refundable, even in the case of disqualification.
🕛 Deadline
The screening portal will close on Friday, August 29, 2025, at midnight.
Ensure you complete your screening process before the deadline.
