FUNAAB Post-UTME/DE 2025: cut-off mark, eligibility and registration details

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Screening Exercise. Applications are open to candidates seeking admission into 100, 200, or 300 Level undergraduate programmes.

The academic session is expected to commence in September 2025.

🎯 General Admission Guidelines

Who Can Apply?

Candidates must have selected FUNAAB as their first-choice institution with JAMB, and meet all eligibility requirements.

Admission Process

Admission into FUNAAB is highly competitive and will be offered strictly on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) based on available capacity. Successful candidates must also participate in a mandatory ICT training and orientation programme before resumption.

📄 General O’Level Requirements

All applicants must possess at least five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects at one or two sittings in SSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB.

Before applying, candidates are advised to consult the FUNAAB Brochure to confirm the specific requirements for their chosen course.

📘 UTME Candidates

Must have selected FUNAAB as “Most Preferred Institution” in JAMB
Sat for the 2025 UTME and scored a minimum of:
- 160 marks for most Agricultural & Management programmes
- 200 marks for courses under Engineering, Biological, and Physical Sciences

📘 Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

Must possess a minimum of Upper Credit in OND, HND, NCE, or A-Level qualifications
Must have selected FUNAAB as their Most Preferred Institution in JAMB
Must submit official academic transcripts or certified statements of result stamped by the institution they graduated from to:

🔄 Change of Institution or Course

All requests for change of course/institution must be made directly through JAMB.

📝 Application Procedure

Step-by-Step Guide:

Visit: https://admission.unaab.edu.ng
Click “Login” and enter your JAMB UTME or DE Registration Number
Generate your REMITA Invoice for a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 (excluding portal & remita charges)
Make payment online, at a bank, or via Internet Banking
Return to the portal, log in, and complete your application
Carefully review your entries before submitting and print the application form with your passport photo

Important:

Ensure correct contact info, O’Level and DE result details
Wrong data can be corrected for a ₦1,500 fee before the deadline
False or incomplete submissions will lead to disqualification

🕒 Application Timeline

Opening Date: Monday, 21st July 2025
Closing Date: Friday, 15th August 2025
Transcript Submission Deadline (for DE): Friday, 15th August 2025

🟡 Note for DE Candidates

Direct Entry applicants must ensure their official transcripts or certified result copies reach the Registrar on or before the closing date. Late submissions will not be accepted.

⚠️ Disqualification Notice

Candidates who do not meet the minimum admission requirements will have their admission withdrawn
No refunds for application payments under any circumstance
