Rivers State University Disclaimer on 2025/2026 Academic Session Resumption
The Management of Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has issued an official notice addressing a false publication currently circulating on social media. The publication claims that the 2025/2026 Academic Session will resume on Monday, 6th October, 2025.
The University wishes to clarify that this information is false, misleading, and not authorized by RSU.
Students, staff, parents, and the general public are hereby advised to note the following:
- Rivers State University will strictly follow its approved Academic Calendar.
- Official announcements regarding resumption, vacation, or any academic activity will be made only through the University’s official channels.
- The University strongly dissociates itself from the false publication and urges everyone to disregard such unauthorized information.
