The management of University of Cross River State has officially announced the commencement of Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening registration for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Candidates who chose UNICROSS as their first choice institution and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply. Candidates who did not initially choose the university can also apply after processing a change of institution through the JAMB portal.
The online registration exercise will commence on Thursday, 21st May, 2026.

Candidates eligible for the screening include:
- UTME candidates who scored 150 and above
- Candidates who selected UNICROSS as first choice
- Direct Entry candidates
- Candidates willing to change institution to UNICROSS through JAMB

UNICROSS Post-UTME Registration Fee
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) through the university application portal using:
- ATM Card (Master/Visa/Verve)
- Bank Transfer
- USSD
- Commercial Bank Payment
How To Apply for UNICROSS Post-UTME 2026/2027
Candidates should follow the steps below carefully:
Step 1: Visit the Registration Portal
Visit the official UNICROSS admission portal:
Step 2: Enter Your JAMB Registration Number
Input your JAMB Registration Number under the “New Candidate” section and click on Proceed to Purchase E-PIN.
Step 3: Verify Your Details
Confirm your personal information and update your:
- Email address
- Phone number
Step 4: Make Payment
Click on Pay Now to proceed to the secure payment gateway.
Payment can be made using:
- ATM Card
- USSD
- Bank Transfer
Step 5: Save Your E-PIN
After successful payment, your unique E-PIN will be displayed. Save it carefully as it will be needed for subsequent login.
Step 6: Complete Your Registration
Log in using the “Already Have an E-PIN?” option and:
- Upload required documents
- Fill the application form correctly
- Cross-check all entries
Step 7: Submit Application
Review your information and submit the application form. Candidates can then print their acknowledgment slip.
Important Information for Candidates
Candidates should note the following:
- Only candidates who scored 150 and above are eligible
- Physical screening is NOT required
- Candidates are not expected to travel to Calabar or any UNICROSS campus for screening
- Applicants should confirm the campus where their chosen course is domiciled before registration
