EBSU Post-UTME 2025: Cut-off mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

This is to inform all candidates who chose Ebonyi State University (EBSU) as their first-choice institution, as well as those willing to switch to EBSU, that the Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) application for the 2025/2026 academic session is now open.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 150 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  • Candidates awaiting results from WAEC (May/June)NECO (June/July), or NABTEB O’Level 2025 are eligible to apply.
  • Direct Entry (DE) candidates who selected EBSU as their choice institution are also eligible and must request their previous institutions to verify their A-level results on the JAMB portal.
  • Candidates not originally choosing EBSU but wishing to apply must complete a Change of Institution to EBSU via the JAMB portal before applying.

Application Details

  • Application Period:
    • Start Date: Monday, 14th July 2025
    • Deadline: Wednesday, 14th August 2025
  • Candidates must complete the online registration by providing accurate personal and academic details.
  • O’Level results must be uploaded to both the EBSU portal and the JAMB portal to be considered for admission.

Important Notes

  • Inconsistencies in candidate names across O’Level, UTME, and registration documents will lead to disqualification.
  • There will be no physical screening. All screening processes will be conducted online.
  • Candidates will be notified of their admission status through the EBSU portal.
  • An offer of admission must be accepted within four (4) weeks, or it will be automatically withdrawn.
  • Pre-degree admission will be based on the average of UTME and Pre-degree scores.
