The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is holding its 2025 policy meeting today at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja. The meeting, which is strictly by invitation, can be followed live via JAMB’s official social media platforms.
[UPDATE] The Board has officially set 150 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into universities for the 2025/2026 academic session. The minimum cut-off mark for polytechnics and colleges of education has been fixed at 100, while Colleges of Nursing Sciences have a cut-off mark of 140. This announcement was made by the JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, during the policy meeting.
The meeting is expected to be chaired by the Honourable Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, with Vice-Chancellors, Rectors, Provosts, and other key stakeholders from tertiary institutions in attendance.

In addition to setting the minimum cut-off marks, the meeting will outline key policy directions for the 2025 admission exercise, review application and performance statistics, and establish guidelines and standards to be adopted by all tertiary institutions across Nigeria. A comprehensive review of the 2024 admission exercise will also be carried out.
