FUTA Post-UTME/DE 2025: cut-off mark, eligibility, registration and details

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has officially announced the commencement of online registration for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise into all undergraduate programmes.

📅 Key Dates

Registration Opens: Friday, 25th July, 2025
Registration Closes: Friday, 28th August, 2025

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

For UTME Candidates:

Must have scored a minimum of 180 in the 2025 JAMB UTME.
Must have chosen FUTA as First Choice Institution.
Must possess at least five (5) credit passes in O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB), including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

For Direct Entry Candidates:

Must have made FUTA their First Choice on the JAMB portal.
Must also possess relevant A-Level qualifications in line with their course of choice.

📌 Age Requirement

All candidates must be at least 16 years of age by 30th September, 2025.

📝 How to Apply

To apply for the FUTA Post-UTME/DE screening:

Visit the official FUTA website: 👉 www.futa.edu.ng
Carefully read the guidelines and instructions.
Generate your payment invoice via the Remita platform.
Pay a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 at any bank via Remita.
Return to the portal to complete the application form online.
Upload your UTME/DE details and O’Level results.
Print out the Registration Slip after submission.

⚠️ Important Notes

Ensure that your UTME registration number and full name (as on JAMB slip) are entered correctly during registration.
Candidates must upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS and share with FUTA on or before 28th August, 2025.
Candidates who fail to register during the stipulated period will not be considered for admission.
Only properly screened candidates will be eligible for consideration in the admission process.
